MIXED USE

Building projects that integrate with the street and combine uses, with retail on the ground floor, and housing, cultural uses or offices above, are increasingly part of a strategy to become less car‐dependent and more sustainable in the use of land and other resources. Our mixed use projects have brought people closer together, and re‐created urban fabric lost in the redevelopment strategies of a previous era.

OFFICE

Productivity in the workplace is positively affected by improved environmental conditions. We use a sustainable design approach that utilizes natural and recycled materials, natural and high efficiency lighting and mechanical systems. Our approach to the workplace emphasizes people and communication. Where possible we pull private offices away from the outside walls to maximize views to the outdoors for everyone. We minimize spatial hierarchy so it is simpler to move people as needs change and new teams are formed.
