Newman Architects builds first mental and behavioral health services hub for area mothers in cooperation with MOMs Partnership
The MOMS Partnership, a collective organization of numerous agencies from across the city of New Haven, expects to build twelve hubs to serve area mothers throughout the city. Each hub will be sited within a local institution that mothers already frequent. The hubs are designed to provide mothers with mental and behavioral health services including teaching techniques for lessening stress and fostering better communication between parents and children. Newman Architects is building the first of these hubs within the Stop & Shop on Whalley Avenue, close to the entrance.
