As President and CEO, Brooks advances Newman’s growth, market and service expansion, and sustainable success by promoting Newman's evolution and innovation. Brooks leads the business operations of Newman Architects including financial management, accounting, and information technology. He is responsible for planning and executing the strategic business initiatives of the firm.

Brooks directs major projects across all of our market sectors. His professional expertise since joining Newman in 2004 has focused on large-scale commercial, educational, and community facilities. Brooks’ ability to develop relationships and build consensus has established Newman as a respected partner among the clients and communities we serve.

An excellent communicator, Brooks believes effective communication optimizes project development and the architectural design process. His commitment to innovation through technology and deep experience with complex projects involving multiple layers of constituency participation have made him a key contributor to the consensus-building process of Newman’s most significant endeavors.

Brooks holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Brooks is a licensed architect in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
