José A Hernández brings more than 40 years of experience, passion and dedication to support a professional environment in which design excellence can be explored and realized. His approach to management is to be clear and deliberate, achieving successes through close collaborations with our clients, partners, consultants, and constructors.

As a member of the Lean Construction Institute, he is an advocate for pursuing efficiencies and promoting a responsiveness that is timely. Stakeholder satisfaction and project delivery are key to José’s project management style, whether for our clients or our internal project management. He is respected throughout the profession for his transparency and openness in communicating his vision for a project approach and the collective effort required to support and achieve our client’s goals and aspirations.

José was instrumental in developing the firm’s mentoring program and maintains his interest through his involvement as an NCARB supervisor. He has served as an advisor and board member of the ACE Foundation of Connecticut as well as the AIA Connecticut task force for licensure. He is a member of the National Organization of Minority Architects and is a founding member of NOMA’s Connecticut Chapter. He currently serves as the chapter’s first President.
