State Street Redevelopment

The City of New Haven is advancing the development of City-owned sites along State Street between the State Street train station and the New Haven Coliseum site, linking the downtown core to new development underway. Newman is the design partner to Gilbane Development Company and Xenolith Partners for the Site A parcels along State Street, from Chapel to Fair Streets. To support the high demand for housing in New Haven and in an effort to further improve the State Street corridor, two new buildings will provide 460 new mixed-income apartments, including 25% affordable.
