Paul Santos, Associate Principal, specializes in affordable and market-rate residential and mixed-use developments, as well as office and commercial spaces. He has contributed to the revitalization of the West Side of Stamford by developing more than 700 units of mixed-market housing. In the Black Rock area of Bridgeport, he completed Connecticut’s first project to blend healthcare and affordable housing as a joint venture.

Paul is revered for his leadership skills and ability to facilitate communication among the design team, consultants, and client. He is known for being detail-oriented and budget-conscious, collaborating with his team to come up with creative design solutions that ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.

Paul brings his passion for sustainability to each project. He aims to achieve higher levels of energy efficiency and better indoor air quality, his primary areas of interest. The concept that architecture can improve the health and well-being of occupants and the planet has lead him to manage the Hill Central project, which will meet Passive House standards that are designed to increase energy efficiency and reduce a building’s ecological footprint. As a member of our office Sustainability Knowledge Group, he uses his expertise to advance the firms eco-friendly practices, both on projects and internally.
